ABOUT BLUE LINE MINISTRIES
Troy Shoaf, of Blue Line Ministries, is a sworn law enforcement officer, a pastor, and a police chaplain for the United States Secret Service, Illinois State Police, Will County Sheriff's Department and the Bolingbrook Police Department. He is a trained counselor and has achieved senior chaplain credentialing through the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC). Through his interactions with police officers and agents, he has seen first-hand the struggles law enforcement face. He confidentially counsels officers and helps during personal crisis. He has observed that many of the personal struggles officers face could have been prevented with the proper encouragement and education. His desire is to use retreats as a means both to educate officers on the stresses of the job and to encourage those officers who are hurting and in crisis. He believes that such retreats can help officers prevent marriage problems before they consider divorce, handle stress before they turn to alcohol or drugs, and deal with their pain before they consider suicide.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Would you consider partnering with us prayerfully and financially? A goal of Blue Line Ministries is to be financially supported by donors in order to be able to keep the cost of the retreats affordable and to offer officers who are in crisis an opportunity to attend a retreat at no cost. Contact us to learn how to sponsor an officer.
Chaplain Troy Shoaf offers counseling to officers and their families free of charge. He offers books and other resources to hurting officers. When disaster hits the community, he is there to offer encouragement. Financial support would help expand the resources available for this vital ministry. All donations are tax deductible. As such, we depend on the generous donations and regular support of concerned individuals like you, as well as foundations and businesses. Please consider partnering with us and allowing us to be your “hands and feet” to law enforcement and a hurting world.
